Canton is a city located in Stark County, Ohio and is about 20 miles south of Akron and is minutes away from the Akron-Canton Airport. It is best known for being home of the Pro Football Hall of Fame and is the resting place of the 25th president of the United States, William McKinley, who called Canton his home.
The city was founded in 1805 and manufacturing was its primary source of employment because of the numerous railroads in the area. Today, healthcare and other service industries are major sources of employment including Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital and Aultman Hospital.
